Today it's all about the Windows Phone Lockscreen!
--------------------------------- PAGE 01 - THE LOCKSCREEN ---------------------------------
Scenario 1: ------------ Imagine having missed a phone call and and need to quickly now if that was the one you have been waiting for all day. Or you are waiting for that email confirmation on your hotel booking which was already two hours ago...
To check this you dont need to unlock your phone and open the phone tile. Now there is no need for that anymore as you can just swipe your lockscreen to the left and see all the important information you need arranged in your personal "Notification Center". Tap them to be redirected to the original application to recieve furthermore information about the notification or calendar event.
Scenario 2: ------------ Imagine listening to music and wanting to switch the artist being played out. Well normally you have to go all the way into the the music application to search an pick your beloved artist.
This has an end now as you can just swipe your lockscreen to the right and display all your music inside your "Media Center" in an easy recognizable cover flow which can be arranged alphabetically, by most played or in any way you'd like. Play, Skip, Shuffle or Repeat are just a fingertap away as you control the tunes in your ears. On top of that you have quick access to all your podcasts and can launch a radio station in no time. And preferably you can also set the "Media Center" as the default lockscreen page when your playing music on your Windows Phone.
Hope you like what you've seen & read! I'd appreciate your comments an inspirational thoughts on this...
A pretty interesting concept you have - and I admire that you actually adhered close to the way the phone currently is. Still, notifications on Windows Phone don't make as much since as on Android/iOS because of the Live Tiles, though this concept seems fairly well thought out. Well done.
ok 2-0 for u guys! thanks for your opinions. i might consider replacing it with a new idea as i still think that swiping sideways on lock could be a useful feature!
somehow true but this is a summary which is only a swipe away and i don't need to unlock my phone. it's way quicker than checking all your tiles for more information.
